The main reason I bring the macro lens along is due to its close focusing capabilities.
The 85L can't go closer than 0.9m while the 100L can go as close as 0.3m, that's a lot of diff if I wanna experiment wif very tight crop.. ;)
Other than that, just slight diff in focal length, diff in weight (85 is much heavier), IS function for the 100L, and some diff. in lens characteristics (100L more contrasty wide-open, can try to adjust the pic style when switch between the 2 lens)..

Thanks for sharing these very nice pictures. You capture the model and her expression beautifully. I just started learning flash photography and would like to know how you do off camera flash. Do you have an assistant, use a light stand or doing it omo? Tia
