Just to post as often people ask where and which shop to buy from in Hong Kong. Whilst I was not so familiar I had always gone to Tin Cheung which is at Tsim Sa Tsui.
ALWAYS, when I am in Hong Kong, I will go to Lan Kwai Fong and eat roast goose at Yong Kei, probably the most famous roast goose restaurant in HK. In parallel to the street where Yong Kei is, along a lower parallel (Lan Kwai Fong is like upwards hilly area in case those don't know), there is a Stanley Street.
Along Stanley Street, there are quite a number of camera shops. All of them have straight-forth price tags on items and thus no need to bargain or haggle. Prices are ALMOST all the time cheapest. Service is "very practical" means you must be serious buyer to test goods, but once you buy something, however small, they are happy and will entertain you.
This is a good place to buy camera as the whole area has lot's of good food, good shopping, can kill multiple birds with one stone!
If don't know where, just tell taxi Stanley Street at Lan Kwai Fong, you'll get there.
There are MANY other camera shops in other places, Citicall, etc, I found that their prices are not the lowest and there are also many shops that try to rip you off so I enjoyed shopping here since no need to "play games about pricing".
