How is the design? Pardon for the mismatch as I have to cut and paste 4 pieces. or else clubsnap cannot upload.
Don't mind me saying this, but it looks more like an organisation chart. Knowing that you've just done this up quickly, I'll overlook this aspect..
Hmm. Got to improve concept liao. This was only part of the design. It was cropped from an 18 by 12 so cannot see the full thing. Just want to know how pp feel when I arranged photos in this manner.
Very very very tight deadline given to me.
Square one B&W concept not the best one...but difficult to find. Not suitable for your malay wedding here.

My friend has a very good and big montage done by himself. The framing is very important also.
Whoa. Tx for taking the trouble:bsmilie: . Yeah. Cannot. Malay Weddings focuses a lot on colours and vibrancy. Majority cannot accept those dark dark photos. Maybe one day drink over coffee.
I think so too. But it can be montage of parts of their body (hands) and object like in the B&W series. There's still something to pick up from this montage if you look hard enough.
Canturn one is a good example mentioned in the prev posting I've edited.
Hee Hee. Did u realise that the photos have 2 WB? Somebody PM me abt it. I was using 2 cams at that time. These are my configurations
1. Canon D70s with Sigma 18mm - 50mm 2.8
2. Canon 30D with F4L 17m - 40mm and 70 to 200 F4L and 50mm 1.8
The Canon is warmer and u will realise which one. So for pre-wedding ceremony, Canon was used most of the time. Nikon was throughout the ceremony. Poses back to Canon. Technical difference is not noticeable. I have a gd developer.
Will upload one montage of the ones posted for comments. For the above photos I posted, they are actually for the montage. When on montage, they look quite different.
to be honest...
some ppl worry too much abt colors, abt WB.
should spend more time abt capturing the moment and getting the right 'feel' in the photos.
refer to Witness's signature for more inspiration.
and for layout... there's some way to go. u'll do well to refer from time to time.
cheers!
Cheese, thanks for the tip and reminder. I agree with u.
My personal experience when I first started off doing events (not weddings), my main worry was exposure and wb. When achieve consistent exposure in Flash photography, focus changed again to capturing the moment. When after capturing the moments, will think abt how to capture it candidly and later to creative angles. I guess it is a whole learning process. Still long way to go.
Through this posting, it made me reflect why some of the angles work and in fact, I find a lot of flaws. Although, none of my clients complained and in fact most of them, (all actually) were very happy when they saw their album. The joy on their face was something for me to be happy with. However, when they are happy does not mean that I am good cause there are different level of expectations. I started off as a hobby and it is still a hobby to me rather than a job. Even though tiring, it was an enriching experience in life.

I think one of the Master here did pointed out to me on my previous shoot that "Less is More". I guess a few selective ones that really brings out the best wud be good enough. Keep shooting![]()
 Ho say bo !!! never see you at our usaul meeting place .
Nice work!
Perhaps u should try shooting with a wider lens and get closer to shots like the silat and when the groom comes to meet the bride. U left out some mood shoots too. Anyways, not bad for a start on malay wedding.
