Mr Lui is correct. Anilao is a better place for macro. But I can’t spot many of them. My buddy and other senior crew are so much more advance. I had a great time though. :)

Never the less....

I really like the Nudi #12... haven't seen one like it yet...

Thank you Sir! One friend also said that. Saw it at Sipadan before. Didn't know the significance till now. quite rare! :)

wah, why everyone "escape" to Philippines? hahaha nice pics!

your lighting is a little hard for the macro though. have you tried using a diffuser?

:( No! Dun hv a diffuser... I think you are right.. I tot of it many months ago. Very nice of you to bring it up.... :D

Wah! Quoted SGD 45 dollar for the white diffuser.

i suppose an alternative is to stop down less, so you can use a lower flash intensity and the power fallout would be more gradual and won't look so hard.

which strobe, by the way? so ex ah

Thanks for the tip. I am using Inon D2000 type 4. Ex hor! Price right or not ah ? LOL!
I usually use the Auto (Aperture mode) and match the aperture setting of my cam. F8 for macro most of the time and adjust accordingly. Ya la... sometimes go too near will be harsh. Should stop down a little. Now i see again some have blown out highlight.... like the pipe fish... :D. Pro chio si Pro!

Inon D2000 should be around $800+++ now... and like forever

As for the diffuser... On land... macro shooters are known to cut and use a certain Japanese brand plastic milk bottle as a DIY diffuser :bsmilie:

LOL! Ya, one of my senior inon flooded. I have one DIY diffuser too. From juice bottle. But i m not very good at cutting. Round one somemore... :( hahaha!

Very nice.. when were u there? Which resort u staying and what camera u using?

Thanks! I Was there last week. Stayed at Portulano dive resort. Using Dlux4 with 10Bar housing. :)

Wow,this is one great underwater photography! Correct me if I'm wrong, Anilao is from the Philippines(specifically Batangas) right?

Yes... Nearest airport from Singapore is in Manlia.

Wow I've heard great stories about that place. What I didn't know was the scenic underwater reservoirs:thumbsup:
