An Old Acqaintance

what's wrong with those teeth, looks like zombie teeth ... :(

I think "ondoy" owes Michelle an apology! To be honest I even think she is much prettier now than when she is younger ;)
BTW great studio set up at your home (presumed), you must have spent a fortune on those equips.

Thank you for your compliment she is indeed much prettier now than before. Yeah that's my home and it cost me
a few thousand dollars for my equipment back then in the early 1990s. Am still using those studio lights very reliable
Bowens brand :)

Very nice, good job! Care to share the lighting not camera setting?

i will try to be honest..

ondoy has a point. but he delivered it bluntly and poorly...

no doubt the model was pretty and her smile is very natural, but a photographer should present a subject more so a friend or an "old acquaintance" to the public/forum with her best angle/view whatever you call it..

personally, i can never post my 6 year old daughter's photos in social media without cleaning away some of her rotten teeth (which is normal for her age if she happens to have an open smile) as i dont want anyone to focus on her flaws,

i dont think its the fault of the subject in anyway. there is nothing wrong in her teeth nor her smile, but i would have chosen other photos better to showcase her smile or adjust something with the white balance?. the 6th photo on this topic is what should be a good photo of her smile.

Thank you. Well as this is an out door shoot lighting is beyond one's control. It's
more of the placement or positioning of the subject against the light and what kind
of effect one desire. For me I love side lights hence she was 'posed' to accentuate
the effect. Whilst in studio one has the command of studio lights placement. Hope this answer your query.:)

Appreciate your honesty. As this is not on the Critique Section what ondoy so bluntly put it 'her zombie teeth' was down right
lame and insulting. No one is perfect and by me putting up this thread it's more of a sharing to fellow Csers about my past
exploits. She's indeed my old acquaintance and after so many years she's still game enough to have shoots so I have no qualms
of putting her pictures in this forum.

It's all about choices really but your input is noted though :)

I think she is a natural. She looked comfortable during the shoot. I think she look better in jeans than cheongsam. Good effort. Keep it coming!
