Amzing price for Ep2 in USA

You can grab an EPL-1 for quite cheap at the moment in Canada.

Hey all,
i am new to purchasing stuff from overseas. B&H still has pretty good deals on the EP2.
My only concern is about the power. So with the charger that comes along with the US EP2, how do i charge it in Singapore? Do i need a transformer or anything?
Silly question i know.. So to whoever that answers me, thanks a billion.

You can just use a travelling adapter I guess, or buy the cable, it should work without a problem, the cable that came with my PSP, its actually a two pin in a 3 pin adapter head, I use it to charge my Olympus batteries and PSP and AA batteries, saves space and the trouble of having too my wires
bought both epl1 & ep2 from amazon usa, the charger is universal voltages, so no transformer needed. the pin socket follow usa standards which is 2 flat pins, u can buy a cheap converter to become 2 round pins for local usage

Thanks for the heads up but i just looked.. It's sold alr. Real fast! Do you guys know if sets bought from US comes in with international warranty?

Hi. Not sure about oly.. Panasonic doesnt have international warranty..
But B&H has Sagemax. This is additional 2or3 year warranty.. it seems (read it somewhere) that you can buy this and if anything happens, you can service locally and B&H will pay you back for the costs..

Adorama also has something similar.. called Mack Diamond international warranty..
I've not used both.. I just bought something from B&H.. cross fingers dont need warranty..

Ahhh.. i see it now. Bummer. i want the 14-42 kit lens la. He's letting it go at a real good price though. Headache. Hahah..
Just read briefly on bandhsagemax site. It seems to me one has to ship the faulty item to them for repair and shipping is free within US. For international, no clear procedure except to say we should "call collect" to their customer support hotline.
Having 2 or 3 years warranty is good, not just for peace of mind but good for resale as well.
I had very bad experience before and will never use them again.

Some of the lenses in the US are so cheap, for e.g. Panasonic 45-200mm can be had for about US$258, compare to used price of around S$400 here. For shipping, I use Borderlinx, their process is simpler and it has worked well for me so far, only thing is you need to have a citibank card. VPOST? Sorry, after about a year of trying, they are just not up to mark, I've abandon them since.
