Short intro on myself:- Im an aspiring filmaker and my main interest is in making Music Videos and Dance Videos (as i am a dancer myself XD).
Its very exciting to get to know alot of fellow videographers coz I just got to know about this forum by a good friend who is a photographer.
Im very keen to learn from everyone here and also keen to maybe work with some of you guys if you'd give me the opportunity :) Hoping to
learn stuffs from each other ^^

Okay, this is a recent MV (though not my first) that I made for a friend who is an aspiring rapper. Its not very good to me, I dont own any high end equipments like a slider or a stabilizer, or a good lens because of its expensive prices ><. This was shot from my Canon 60d with just its standard kit lens. Edited thru Sony Vegas Pro. I only rely on my insights on finding reliable angles. So hopefully you guys can go easy on me and advice on what equipments i could use in future, preferably something affordable and useable enough :)

My preferred type of filming is the Run and Gun style, because I like the 'live' effect that it has as if you are there to experience it. :) but this is just my preference. XD

So yea, here it is. Hope y'all enjoy it :-

im sorry i have trouble embedding the video and linking it.. Sorry for the inconvenience ><

Setsu Himatori>>> Honestly, I believe you have gained a lot of exposure and faced some challenges doing the video. All I can say, try to invest in a Pro Motion Stabilizer. $250SGD. Cheap and good. It will helps to minimize your shaky shots and it will add the flying effect. If you are good enough, you can stabilizer your shot as though as you are shooting on the tripod or monopod.

Happy Video Shooting!!

Yea i realised tat. Will learn to tone it down on my next vid. Ooohh any idea where i can get that?

It's not bad actually. Your editing managed to make it all work.

thank you hamanoshun :) i dont really want to rely on my editing too much so yea, i must try to improve on the pre productions. one thing i still dont understand is controlling the exposures, shutter speed and f/stops(?) im having difficulties understanding them despite the many tutorial vids i've watched. i need to get basics straight first. ><

If you want to emulate film look you should always shoot at 24fps. Then you have only two things left to adjust: aperture and ISO.

hmm 24p. Got it :) I've recently started shooting with 30p. They r both the same right? Both have its own preference in its diff region like US and Europe.

Oh wow this is.helpful to.understand. But does settings also helps in filming? I tried adjusting some of the settings on my 60d in movie mode but i cant access to some. Eg, aperture, shutter.

Ooops i realised i posted a.stupid question. Of course all thr settings above helps. Just that i dunno how to adjust the settings on some like aperture and shutter.in movie mode.
