Amaran AL-198C
Whereas our original Amaran LED only featured bulbs at 5500K, this new one features bulbs of both 3200K and 5500K.
This makes it useful for shooting under all kinds of lighting conditions. Check the diagram below to see the arrangement.
To show you the difference in effect of these two bulbs, we took two sets of pictures.
One showing the bulbs themselves and one showing the effect of the bulbs on a plain white wall .
From these photos, you can see two things:
the 5500K bulbs are useful for adding cool light to a warm scene
the 3200K bulbs are useful for adding warm light to a cool scene.
Of course, you can also spin the wheel to get Pure White color in between, to find just that balance of perfect light
