Alternatives to ZD lenses?

I got a better quote from AP at Sim Lim. Sigma 55-200mm $290... And that was like a few months ago.. should have drop by now

MS Color now quotes $299 for it.. but currently out of stock. I'll check out AP.

In the end I decided to go for the ZD 40-150mm since I found it selling for S$220 new.

Nah.. . just bought from one of the Fotokem chain stores in neighbouring M'sia. Apparently some promotion for ZD lenses and last week Sunday was supposedly the last day for the promo. Rats, I should have gotten a macro lens too.
