[alteredVision] A Photo When There's One

Thanks again Mysteryray. At the time, I was really annoyed at the heavy clouds that managed to come just right at sunset and totally obscured the sun (there's a whole string of thick black clouds behind the trailing end of the Z), but seems like it turned out for the best after all. :bsmilie:

Swallowing the Sun

Reminds me of those legends where the sun gets eaten up.

A Growing City

Well... one of my very few urban photos that have a (relatively) happy mood.

Edit: Taken from Marina Barrage, if anyone's wondering.

All in the Name of Progress

And back to the awful urban pics. ;p Marina Barrage.

Memories

Lower Pierce. I had wanted to make the playground with the white flowering trees the focus, but couldn't seem to find a nice angle without all those wire fences or trees blocking. Still, this doesn't seem so bad.

Somewhere in Sengkang. Just a snap while waiting for the LRT.

Somewhere in Seng Kang too. Looks like it'd hurt to walk through it.

Stepping into the Unknown

Pun intended ;)

Labrador Park

My favourite place. Also one of the few times when they actually look better in the afternoon than during the "golden hours".

Labrador Pink

And just for comparison, the same location at a later time.

Haven't been taking a lot of pictures lately, but finally got around to editing the pics I took in Indonesia on holiday with my family. Mostly taken while being stuck in a tour bus while they dragged us from one shopping place to another. Don't know why people would pay for this, but at least the pictures didn't turn out too bad. This isn't a great example, but I like the mood, so here it is :)

i second your opinion. anyways, i guess sooner or later the style has to change - i think more and more people are starting to resent the touch and go form that dominates the market right now.

anyhow, welcome back! :)
