hi
tks for replying.
i am using canon 500D.
i am considering switching to nikon.. but my friend tells me that canon sensor produces better colour... i am not really sure lah... i think my eyes are not that sensitive.. was also told that canon is better for portrait and nikon is better for others.. when nikon cam is used to take porttraits, the skin looks hard...
i must go and find more nikon photos to compare with.. but not sure where can i find them...
thanks bubble but i think the 'god' is too much for me :sweat:
there are many who can do much much much better and i'm still learning from them.
now those are the gods!
i would normally just take a few steps to edit the photos.
curves-->hue saturation-->brightness contrast![]()
^ very nice!
may i ask if its ever possible to achieve such colours or quality without any processing done?
Normally I dun quite dare to adjustment colors, cos my eyes got color deficiency... :embrass: But think will give it a try sometime.![]()
I like your street portraits best, of your different different types...but they are all very good...so seriously, kudos to you, i enjoyed seeing you collection. Cant wait to see more
Its good to know you take a lot of the candids using a telephoto. Was wandering around with my 17-55mm trying to take street shots...but although i managed to get a few interesting subjects...i just wasnt close enough even at full zoom. I went as close as i felt comfortable. Still have a long way to go i guess
Will be trying walkabout shots on my 70-300 next, thanks for providing the inspiration to do so! maybe the confidence to get really close can come later on....
The courage that you and danny santos have to get up close and take portraits makes you all masters...perhaps you can try getting street shots using wide angles now since you have obviously developed the guts already lol
haha.. love this two pictures.
the first caught that boy taking a peek at that lady there.
while the second is very interesting. :thumbsup:
