my aim for this re-shoot: to do a seascape without any industry looking building in sight. as we all know, sg has very little places without those ugly big boats or habour machinery. for me I'm quite not a fan of them bobbing at my horizon, so i made a point to compose in a way that i wont see them.
as for why the last 2 photos are similar? the last one was taken first actually. suddenly tide came up, my shoes and tripod got wet. so i moved up and tried to compose another shot
my niece was having fun with this feather. suddenly she decides the best place to stick the feather would be in the lens. and thats what she did. this is one scenario where having a UV filter infront of ur lens is a good thing. 1: no problems of ppl touching glass. 2: u get nice shots. 3: u dun get pissed cause of scratches
and hence UV filters are still gonna be on my lens when i shoot events
