Congratulation

Hi Bro Numnumball.. hope to share my experience while its still fresh.
- admit to delivery ward
- Start to get familiar with all the things around you
- Contraction pain..wife screaming... give her the support
- Set up your video either sideway or from the back of the delivery bed facing towards your wife leg ( I was disappointed that i forget to bring video cam )
- More pain.. more screaming.. continue to prepare your setup for video and cam.. make sure your setting is correct
- Pump up your ISO and possible get big aperture lens, as there maybe alot of movement
- make sure u have at least a 8GB empty card
- Nurses will let you know when the baby is ready for delivered by the Dr
- Dr arrives, video start shooting
- Get ready your cam.. one hand will be holding your wife and the hand holding your cam..
( should start weight training for your arm now, hehe)
- more pain more screaming and more pic.. and then your tears will fall when u see your little baby coming from the mom's womb..

Hope this help... All the best..

sorry Oooooze76, sidetracking abit here...

Yup, Mt. Alvernia do. You can shoot as much as you like before and after the delivery. During the delivery is no no though.

You ought to join the hospital tour, they will tell you everything you need to know.

but no video cameras.
