01/04/11:New toy
Inspired by Digirev Tv's Pro Photographer Cheapo camera (I am not pro), I have decided to get this "digital holga" myself to train my skills. Got it 2nd hand @ $65 from a nice lady.

Obviously it doesn't work in low light situations.

03/04/11: Help Japan with Love
Saw these volunteers (Japanese I believe) asking for donation in Bugis. They are the most polite people I have seen asking for donations.

05/04/11: Ice cream anyone?
Tried this brand of soya ice cream at bugis junction. They have a variety of flavours which are Japanese type or more Western type. Tried a flavour called "Royale tea" and "Green Tea". Quite "Tea-licious".

Another shot using yashica under low light

Only had my yashica with me at that time.

07/04/11: Yashica meets Guardian
This lion guards the famous temple at Bugis. IQ of the yashica is not too bad if you focus correctly (using your feet).

09/04/11: Waiting
Was out jogging around Jurong East to Lakeside area and went to take a walk around Chinese Garden. Was glad to have my super light and small digital Holga (yashica) with me so that I could take some pictures.

10/04/11: Search
Another shot using yashica. Just like how he search for new land, we should search for new inspiration and compositions for our photos.

11/04/11: Motion
This week would be my kit lens 18-200 week.
Took this picture at night and due to the small f5.6 I got a blurry picture but I thought it ain't as bad as it seems so I chose to keep it.

12/04/11: Meow
Took this late at night using kit lens. Due to high ISO so I just made it into a grainy B&W portrait style photo of this cat.

Canon 500D, ISO 800, 200mm f5.6, 1/5s handheld.

Another shot using my 18-200 kit lens in the morning.

hi nice photo!... may i ask u what extension tube r u using? kenko? sorry to disturb

Thanks :)...Meike brand I bought from ebay. Depending on whether you want cheaper plastic mount (Around $70) or metal mount ($90+). Since it's just mechanical parts with no optics I thought maybe brand is not that crucial.

15/04/11: Rest
Even though they tried to promote trishaw riding for tourists, it seems that this area of business is slowly dying out. Shot using 18-200 kit lens.
