i suppose you can try to meter the sky and dial around to compensate the exposure.. then wun get such a "bright" sky (you metered the tree i think? but then again even if you metered the tree.. the tree looks overexposed too!)

btw.. you stay in bishan? i stay just nearby.. =) beside catholic high school.. cheers!
