I just got an AIPO EX48L last week.
Set it at 40% RH and put all my gears in. About 4 lens, 2DSLR, a Polaroid and 2 compact cams.
The RH reading only stablised at 41% 2 days later.
Yesterday, I opened and closed it to put in another camera.
RH reading shot up to 60+% after I closed it.
It gradually fall back to 44% , 7 hrs later this morning.

Is this normal? How long does it usually take for RH to lower and stablised to my set 40% after opening and closing?
It's definitely not within the 1 - 2 hrs as written in the manual. Mine takes up to 3 to even 6 hrs.

hi i need a cabinet to fit in 1 dslr, 4 lens, 1 sony nex 3...? please quote me.. thanks..

I understand that it's normal for the hydrometer to show a +1% RH reading.
It also means that the dehumidifier is always running and does not get cut off as the set RH is not reached, so it's not as power-saving as it should be?

Hi ,

can pm me a quote on the 48EX?
Self collect/delivery

Thanks!
