For liking the series and also for your well wishes

I did not come up with the way to process the photo and will not take credit for it. In fact Imran, another fellow CSer sent me a link on how to process the photo to achieve sorta effect that Dave Hill achieves with his photos, you can follow this link to the tutorial

I used the method moderately plus dodging/burning and cropping to achieve the effect.

you probably already got it but the results are not what you expected
well I used the same method on some photos and it did not turn out as expected too
believe it works better on pics with good contrast and lines
like dirty buildings and wrinkly man i guess... not all photos suit this processing

Dave Hill probably got his own way of processing his photos but he ain't sharing is he:bsmilie:

and truth be told, (did not previously wanna reveal this as i wanted to keep to my tortoise and hare anology) the car was parked under the "Ancient Craft" signboard
so this was probably the best possible shot at that moment ... coz if I had taken the bike under the sign, it would have been real messy with the car and bike together and loads of empty space on the right. hehe

But i get your idea of having the bike under the sign though. nice
