i could not accomplish this with my usual workflow
mine gets too dark and some of the shadow details will be missing
ur shadows are generally still intact which is cool and has the dynamic effect (unlike if I juz desaturate the pic)

Mind sharing the steps bro?

yep. That was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw him sitting there under the hot sun. thus included the reflection of him in the water

hey bro,

i cannot remember exactly; but it involves channel mixing, 60/30/10
then highlights 30,shadows 5
reduce contrast -10, brightness -5
gamma lower to about 1.7 IIRC
urban acid 60/60 for both layers
vignetting twice, with one extreme mid point, and one less extreme mid point

i don't know if you understand what i write here , actually.. ok for the last part, the vignetting one is done with the mid point in the lens correction filter set to the left, then in the middle.

but slightly embarrassed becoz I did not initially intend it to be blurr

juz dat my cam had difficult focusing under the low light...
but I :heart: the shadow so much so I process it with UA to give it a slightly lomo blur blur feel.

interestingly, it came out quite well actually, probably might even be better than a pin sharp one :bsmilie:
