Congratulations on your purchase Hitman!

Currently I'm using the some of the settings recommended by DPR; seems to work well and can be nicely post processed (do note that I shoot RAW then post-process mostly):

Noise Filter : Off (to retain maximum detail).
Noise Reduction : On (you may leave this on; it only kicks in with long exposure)
Sharpness : -2 (with the noise filter off you don't need in-cam sharpening)
Contrast : -1 (to maximise DR)
Saturation : 0 (post-process work)
Exposure Compensation : -0.3EV (DPR reported a 0.7EV DR loss over highlights)

I did a lot of test shots and can agree that the above settings work very well. I shoot mainly JPG SHQ, the above settings gives very good out-of-camera JPGs.

Have a good weekend!! :D

Congrats on getting the E-510. The improved body design is really something right?

The E-510 body design is nice, but actually I still like the build quality of my 2 year-old E-300 which I've sold off for S$350. So the E-510 only costs me S$949, if I can sell the 14-42mm kit lens at S$150, then the E-510 only cost me S$799 :bsmilie:

Have a good weekend!! :D
