Yes and u will be surprised with the picture quality it can bring u, despite the praises and good reviews of other brands.
I have tested recently a 60D with their famous EFS17-55 f2.8 compared to A55 with SAL18250.
Under same scene at the same time, with same exposure settings, A55 appeared sharp and detailed at all ISO from 100-3200 on jpegs. Noise level is same for both cams but really i am surprised how well the colours and details, DR are retained by the little A55 despite using a more inferior lens. (or at least what other reviews has claimed)
I should Not go on more if not will be bashed by their fans. My point is having great reviews or popular by brand does not mean they are good. If u test them in depth, u will be surprised with the results. In this case, the sony wins hands down.
I think u should get the point now. I can tell u this as i tried both cams side by side, not telling u anyhow by hearsay.
