I was there on a 7day- eat/shop trip. Bought the a55 upon arrival and used it throught the 7days. So I did not think it was necessary to declare a used personal item. Hope I was right.

If any of you going to HKG to get your stuff, MongKok area has plenty of shops. To my surprise there was 1 electronis shop - Sunning/LAser (chain - like HN or Best type) that offered very good prices, just like the camera shops in the area. A good quick no fuss shop to pick up stuff.
