hmm the 17-85 would be a good one if you can afford it, wide enough for landscape and long enough reach. other than that you should try looking for something 24mm on the wide end.
primes are good that they force you to be more creative with what you can take. It is good to have in the bag to train yourself to see things different once in a while.
