advice camera body and lens with $3000 budget

3k....

I recommend
D5000 + UWA and samsung NX10 + 30mm f2. Portable, easy to use, no changing of lens needed.

Seriously, do you guys mount a flash during your tavels???? After the first trip with the flash in my luggage and using it like ONE time, I never carry any flash guns on my travels. Way too heavy and not much use. The high ISO performance now is really good anyway.

For me I do, in the past as well as present for the SB16 and/or SB600. Just that it is always in the backpack and only attach on when needed. Definitely will never bring my Metz 45CL-4:embrass::embrass:

Looks D90 is a be tterbased on the advices. Yes I can save money and buy others. Any accessories need to buy?

UV filter for your lens, dry cabinet, tripod, cleaning kit, camera bag(if needed).

After I gotten my sb900 recently it's part of my DSLR... I Always use it...

I see you have the vertical grip too. Is that part of your DSLR too?

strong...

I am weak, that is why I got a NX10 as it is so much lighter for my travels. I realise my backpack gets lighter as the trip progresses. First day very on, everything in backpack. At the end of the trip, usually 1-2 lens get left in the hotel.

either d90, 18-105 kit, uwa, or d90, 18-200, flash... toss in tripod somewhere...

but get a feel of the camera, and a sense of whether you need uwa... and do you know how to use external flash?

good choice, now its the time to enjoy the camera.... :)

I also bought 50mm F1.8 len. Also considering Tonika 11-16mm len.

Have done some research, I may need a CPL filter for landscape photography. Should I buy one CPL filter with stepup ring or multiple filters? which brand and model should I buy?

Any advices? Thanks
