Thanks guys........FYI none of the PS effects were used on the above picture. It's a OOC shot.

Hi adrewine,

Noticed you have two bodies. Do you bring both (each with lens mounted) on your travel?

Also noticed most of the shots are with wide angle or standard zoom lens. Can give a rough est. on usage of telezoom lens during your travel. Tks.

this is really nice.

i don't really like some of your recent work, very heavy handed processing, but shots like these make me smile. :)

Thank you very much gentlemen.

@ anttz ~ Yes it's only very recently that I shoot with 2 cameras; one wide and the other telezoom.
I find it very convenient that I don't have to swap lenses so many times and also Oly cam+lens are actually very light so I can always shoot on the go and fast.......that's why I can always out run them and out shoot them.....hehe;)
With a small and light setup I can also get in and out of a tight situation very fast especially when one is doing street photography.
As to my tele (40-150mm) usage it all depends on which part of the world I am on and how and what I intent to shoot with it. I use it mainly for street portraiture shots and isolation/bokeh stuff and such.
It's much more harder to do street portraiture shoot with the humble kit lenses as they are not fast lenses but at least they are small and short and not so threatening to the public when pointed at them.......unlike some street photographers with bazooka lenses.

As to my 9-18mm lens it actually took me nearly 2 months to 'see thru' it and I'm beginning to love this little wide, small and light lens. I think it's a very versatile and indispensable lens for my style of shooting.

@ night86mare ~ Thanks for dropping by and commenting especially coming from a guru.
The treatment of the photos are very much depending on the dynamic weather conditions at the time of capture and the style to suit the shots and also my mood during PP actually........often times I just like to see how far I can PP (Play Play) with the shot.......hehe.
Anyway it's always not easy to PP a shot coming from a P&S cam or a jpeg image.......the DR and latitude are often limited but they are small in size and easier to handle as I shoot by the thousands.

Well.........here's another OOC shot from Zürich. Enjoy!

adrewine, thanks for sharing these wonderful images.
I think the Oly really produces nice colours... or is it your PP? You are really gifted :)

Oh!.......Thank you very much orangedial.........you are most welcome!

I really like to believe that it was my PP that does the magic but unfortunately when I shoot in RAW and then adjust back the Oly colors, I can't...... it is as if I've lost my sight and color blind. Oly paints my world full of wonderful colors.

I used to believe that Canon gives the best and most vivid colors when I was shooting their cam a few years ago. When I first bought Oly I was desperately trying to tweak back to Canon colors for about 2 months until I totally give-up.
Then I realized my eyes had gotten used to their colors.

Many people shoot in RAW I think is because they want to tweak their colors to their liking........... with Oly jpeg the colors are already naturally there so all I have to do is to just enhance and post. But RAW has its strength too in difficult shooting condition and provided if you have plenty of time, energy and HD capacity......hehe.

I used to be afraid of adjusting color's tone, hue and saturation and luminescent and etc..etc.. But not any more! With Oly jpeg colors I just concentrate on shooting and nailing the shots. And also color is but just only one of the many factors contributing to what is supposedly to be a great shot.

Of course Oly is not everything and for everybody. It has its Pro and Con too! Different stokes for different folks!

I wish to state that I'm NOT a fanboy of Oly and it's just how I use my tools and the work flow to achieve my pictures.

Beg your pardon or my eyesight is failing, I see Adrewine's at the most natural and very light handed instead. Shooting in Jpeg don't leave much room to PP.

Or is Adrewine is so skilled that he tweaked them so natural?

Your Webb Bridge and this shot are superb shooting. Your talent is your angle of shots. Perfect compositions. As Adam Ansel said "the best camera equipment is the legs"
