Adorama Covering up on KM 28-75 f2.8 $199 Error ???

My order was cancel by them but inside the adorama website, my status still pending. No point to wire transfer the $ over when nothing is confirm. So sad now, wouldn't be getting things from there anymore. :angry:

Since tankm can continue his purchase, I don't understand why they cancel yours?
May be should email them for further clarification? Which reason is limiting your purchase?

No choice lor. Also no point wire transfer the $ and in the end, gets nothing. Just let it be, maybe they might write to me one day and say I got a pending request, haha! :bsmilie:

I've been through this before. For some strange reason they consider Singapore as a high risk country. I even told them not to ship to me until they receive the payment but they refuse. Finally got so pissed off that I told them that Singapore doesn't want to deal with them too.:bsmilie:

I remember that when I order DVD from USA, also need verification. VpostUSA ever mention that website but I already buy from there a few times without any problem.

So, with my trustly old 7i, I took pic of my credit card and bank statement. Then I email Adorama the pics. Hope they allow this to go through as my status over there still pending. Will keep you folks updated. If directly from Adorama, total cost will be $S402 ;p

Keep in mind, when you e-mailed them is to be polite. Explained to them you have friends who had ordered from Adorama before and have no problem using Singapore credit card and have it shipped to Singapore.

If needed give the person handling your order a call. I did and after that all settled. Use the cheapest IDD, for Singtel 019.

I think the price of US$199 is a steal..considering the exchange rate now is 1US$ to S$1.62.

But credit card charges are usually slightly higher on exchange rate. But still it's cheap and new.

Disbursement fee = GST handling fee by UPS. UPS paid first and then collect later. Sure make money business, for my case 50% interest rate. :bigeyes: Different courier charge differently it seems.

Funny thing is I bought the UV filter for this lens more than 2 months ago when I put in an order in one of the local shop in Singapore with assurance will most likely get one. Then after all the SONY news and no stock was thinking of putting it up for sale in B&B as don;t think I will ever get one.

UPS tracking site say they delivered yesterday already, but Vpost site until now still hasn't update on receival .
Probably need another week or half to reach me.
