Hi,

I have a web forum and I am thinking to do something related to animals, maybe cats.
Initially, I wanted to set up this place for missing pets owners to post information/search engine and for people to post information about pet found instead of these people sticking poster or notice on lamp pole etc.'

What you guys think? Any idea what I can do to help our animal friends, preserve and respect live?
Can we call come together to do something?

Went to the Purina Cat Championships at the Expo today.... Never expected to bring ANYTHING back home since we already have 5 cats...

Walked to the CWS (www.catwelfare.org) exhibit and before you know it, a BIG black cat called Tuxedo followed us home. And he's huge! About 7 kgs!! Now we've got a mini black panther in the house. Very lovable and tame... A paddler. Those with cats will know what I mean.

Meet Tux! ;p (Those on 15" 1024x768... this photo is actual size!)

I like the pose of Tux in this picture... looks like a gentlemen looking out afar and longing for his love to return... a catty "romantic" pose? Nice one...

lucky u, Tux is GORGEOUS... ;)

one of my cats are a paddler too.. and a purring machine.. he must sleep with me every night and he makes sure that he is in contact with me, be it his paws, or his entire body. recently he has learnt to rest his head on top of my shoulders with one paw resting on it.. his warmth, deep, constant purring puts me to sleep fast.... :) we have intimate eye-contact this way

Wah, envious!!!

One of my cats hug my leg like a bolster when she sleeps.... :bsmilie:

Thanks, furrypaws! Must exchange stories one day. :D

CAUTION: Do not let your cat sleep with you!
.... unless you want to end up like us.... :sweatsm:

Our queen size bed has become quarter size now cos we have 2 catz sleeping on either side of us....
guess its time to look for a bigger bed... or bigger house:sweat: :complain:
love them, love them not not..

During weekend afternoon naps, humans are outnumbered 5 to 1... (my wife naps, I don't)... :sweatsm:

At night, we usually don't let all of them in... just 2 or 3... take turns lor! :D

Do your cats move around much at night? Mine will be playing on the bed (one brings his toy up onto the bed to play) or chasing each other in and out of the room and on the bed. Can't sleep at all like this.

My cats are no longer nocturnal... they follow our sleeping habit and sleep until morning... :P

I wish all of them can follow my sleeping pattern. As it is, given the chance, they will be jumping up and down the bed the whole night.

When you are home, don't let them sleep... maybe then they'll be tired when midnight comes round... :bsmilie:
