Adobe CS 6 on Snow Leopard

Hi all

I'm currently running Adobe CS5 on my MacBook Pro (i7 Dual Core - 8G Ram) on Snow Leopard.

I've just got my CS6 and intends to install it on the same MBP I'm using now.

Questions:

1. Can CS6 run on Snow Leopard or do I need to upgrade to Mountain Lion?

2. Can CS5 and CS6 co-exist on the same Laptop - is it better/recommended to uninstall CS5 first before installing CS6 - will there be any risk of 'conflicts'?

3. Will CS6 run significantly slower than CS5 on the same Laptop?

Hi, based on my own experience:

Macbook that I'm using (last white generation, Snow Leopard 10.6.8, 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo - 4GB Ram)

Questions:

1. Can CS6 run on Snow Leopard or do I need to upgrade to Mountain Lion?
Snow leopard works fine.

2. Can CS5 and CS6 co-exist on the same Laptop - is it better/recommended to uninstall CS5 first before installing CS6 - will there be any risk of 'conflicts'?
No problem, except by default, your files will be opened by newest version (I have Indesign CS4,5,6 in same com)

3. Will CS6 run significantly slower than CS5 on the same Laptop?
Infact it runs faster than prev. version esp Illustrator (new mercury engine).

After signing in with Adobe ID, my CS6 should be considered activated by now.

There seems to be a message that remind me to "Complete some kind of Profile and Register the Product"?

What are these for and will it make any difference?

That means registering on Adobe.com so you get support, access to their forums, etc etc

So far, all I need is 'software updates' and nothing else.
Will registration with Adobe make any other difference?

(By the way, I was pleasantly surprised that PS CS6 doesn't seem to 'run slower' on the same machine.)
