If you claim TRS on the way out and on the way back, you must declare the good. If the value of TRS good is over $900AUD, then there is import fee. :thumbsd:

but if i claim on the way out, then seperate the box and camera, get my friend to carry the box + accessories while i carry the camera with my lens, do u think the sg custom will be able to do anything abt it if i dont declare?

Make sure you need to decorate the box or flatten it, so that it won't be that obvious.
The regulation states:
- you may leave the box behind in Oz and open the camera (use it / abuse it)
- claim TRS on your way out
- The person making the claim must be the passenger flying
- purchase good within 30 days of departure (very important)
- value over $300
- if you bring the item back into Oz, you are require to declare to custom and show receipt. Since 5dm2 is over $900, you "may" get hit with an import fee:thumbsd:. If you do not declare and custom finds out, be prepare to get a huge slap on the wrist and a fine

As heard there a silent upgrade on the latest 24-105 lens for some components.
so those whose getting the 5D MKII with Kits, first shipment is available in 5D MKII with 24-105 L lens only. only body may in the later shipment.....
Their may let go their serviced 24-105 F4 IS L into the B & S section.
keep the latest copy........ It depreciate ard few hundred, better than send the serviced copy for CSC........
as the lens age getting old day by day :bsmilie:

Beats me too, as I didn't specifically ask about. Somebody else did while I was about to leave. It was only in the evening, so perhaps she didn't have a confirmation any earlier ? :dunno:

Yes, it will be available at MS tomorrow for the ppl who paid the deposit. Pricing will only be available tomorrow during the launch, but from what i have been hearing, the body alone should be around $3900 to $4000. Just realized that when u shoot RAW on the Mk 2, you will need Photoshop CS4 or Lightroom 2.2 to process the RAW files.... Why can't they just make the Camera RAW plug-in compatible with CS3 and Lightroom 1???
