Actual Day Wedding Photographer and Cinematographer/Videographer Needed!

HI!

I would need 1 Photographer and 1 Cinematographer/Videographer on my Actual Day Wedding (27 Dec 2014 - Saturday).
Estimated Time of Event: Morning 5hrs + Evening 5hrs includes ROM and Dinner
My budget is SGD400 for Photograpy and SGD700 for Cinematography/Videography.

My requirement is very simple. Please see below.

1. Photography- All softcopy photograph needed only. No need editing.

2.Cinematographer/Videographer -
MUST Provide Morning Highlights (E.g Makeup, Gatecrashing, Traditional Ceremony, etc) to be shown on actual day dinner.
I need real high quality and good video.
Other than Morning Highlights that need to be edited, you can just provide unedited whole day video.

Photographer building portfolio is OK!
Cinematographer/Videographer with wedding experience preferred.

Hmmm put aside $40/hr for PG.

But SGD700 for 'real high quality and good video' and with SDE... really need to be real high in luck to find such lobang...

I can say $400 and $700 can be consider as a bit generous even those far below market price.
Some offer less than $200. It still has a taker ..
What to do if it is not your cup of tea , just move on lor

i think good for people starting out, for the photo, sound low tho

but to give like very high expectation and low budget doesnt match

Guys, it is TS prerogative to set his/her budget. But it is also his/her risk to take if the pictures or video comes out crappy. They can also only blame themselves if the photographer or videographer is not professional in the way they conduct themselves. You really get what you pay for. No need get upset over this.

And judging by how much the customer expects to get for offering such a low pittance in return. These are exactly the kind of customer you need to avoid anyway. Give this one to the bottom feeders.

Every newbies photographers / videographers love to shoot weddings, will try one whenever one come by, too the extend free also want to shoot.

and BTW, it is so easy to fake some portfolio, and that is not uncommon.

It is your choice to entrust your ONCE IN A LIFE TIME WEDDING EVENT to somebody you don't know and let them build their experience and portfolio. and this could be happen...

AD wedding video problem and how to react?

FYI, that is exactly what the mindset of many inexperience photographers, leak of planing, anything goes wrong than thinking of how to salvage it, so where is this videographer now? Nobody knows.


Whereas seasonal wedding photographers take each assignments very seriously, if not, their reputation and living hood at stake, they have invested a lot of time, efforts and money into their business, so noting come cheap.

Yes, like Mod DD123 said, it is your responsible for the outcome at the end of the day,
what if the photo and video come out crappy? or worst..... NOTHING.

So, are you OK to live with that??
