Wow, this Mega Pix thing is really crazy. Converting 10MP raw files on my PC is already pretty slow.

I was only hoping for better iso performance, looks like have to wait a little longer for A800 for lower price.

It make sense to have two Bionz in tandem as the pixel counts is twice the A700 to get enough bandwidth to flush the amount of data.....haah DSLR going duo core...for now...
Unless they release a A800 with Full frame 24Mpix with 2 FPS or A 12Mpix Full frame A750:bsmilie:

Remember those days where LCD displays were split half DSTN - just to get the faster refresh rate....

I totally agree with you bro. With that kind of MP count in that small sensor, I would consider a MF cam.

Hi Bro...

With my current future plans...I think the A700 will be good enough for me for now unless I get to close some good jobs then I may consider.

Even for the A700 I sometimes shoot smallest file type and been shooting with the 24-105 on the 1.5x A700 sensor without any problems. Back in school for the next 1/2 a year and got no time to "play" ...only time for some jobs and courses.

I don't really fancy the megapixel race. I wish if they could just swap the A700 sensor to a full frame one...and have a lower priced body.

I don't see an immediate need for now to get the A900. Getting used to the APS-C size frame for now since the 7D...which is still my workhorse. But........

Hear from a reliable source that the A900 Launch in China will be on 10th September in Shanghai. Comfirmed that A900 will be cheaper than D3.

Err... not surprised that the A900 is cheaper than the D3 but will it be cheaper than the D700... that is the more important piece of information actually... the A900 was not targeted at the D3 (Pro range) but at the D700 and 5D segment... semi-pro but full frame...
