Yeah, the widest for Alpha mount is from Sigma, but I don't like Sigma.

my brother also who's into photography dont like Sigma... to me I am staying away as I am using DSLT so cant buy 2nd hnd Sigma unless it's newer models

Do not like Sigma too. Once play Zeiss:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:, nothing else better.
BTW, what things to shoot for 12-14 range ? ? ? :dunno:
Just move back a few steps with CZ 16-35.

For a common perspective, 16-35mm is the widest zoom lens which still capable to get high pixel magnification.
Wider than that.. the picture will be pixelated imo.

Or, it's better for you to provide panoramic head for your camera + lens for precision stitching photography..
