Hey, tell u the deal I got from SITEX.

Go to Canon booth, and look for the boss.
After negotiation, my deal is $660=A80+128MBCF+case+charger
Pretty good for me.

been there, talked to the boss. He is ready to neg, but never went below 700 for this bundle...

well, don't know whether the same boss or not. or might be he see the demand on A80 today.

The guy I talked to is Mr. Tan from Alan photo.

Another trick for you guys, can try Sunday afternoon/evening. I was selling at PC show before, boss will slash price near the end of show.

Acutally there are good deals at Nikon and Olympus, if u not must buy A80, can consider others too.

I buy for someone else, so I only go for this model.

no - havent bought, not worth it - same as buying separate (620-650 camera in sls, 50 for 128Mb CF, other bundled bullshit i simply dun need - cheap bags, huge charger).

And i do want this model (present for my parents), koz of the rotating lcd and other nice things Canon got for the price

I suggest buying the MAHA charger from Sitex first even if you can't find a good deal for A80 there. The 401 charger + 8 x 2100mAh Sanyo battries for $70 is a good deal. The A80 will need it.

MAHA charger 401 or the Sanyo Quick charger

The MAHA 401 is better. It has the discharge feature (reconditioning) and is only $10 more than the Sanyo Super Quick. Too bad I bought the Sanyo Super Quick Charger 2 weeks ago. The Sanyo is not bad though, takes about 2 - 2.5 hrs to charge 4 x 2100mAh AA batteries.

A80 + Lowerpro 40 camera Bag + 256 Scandisk CF + LCD Protector = 780 net.
