yup, but i pre-focus for her before i ask her to shoot. i set it at F/4 so the depth of field not too thin in case she moved a bit

Suspect should be the same but since the mkii has 5 axis stablization, handheld at a lower shutter speed will improve. This improvement alone is a big factor for me.

I agree. IBIS is very good..

I also believe A7II and A7RII have same powerful IBIS. only that, perhaps since their sensor have much more pixel count (esp in A7R2) it may not be as forgiving as in A7S2

Never tried them myself. But the Sony people says...The S2 has slightly better improved high ISO performance over the S1. By how much... or how true isit. Dontknow.

What i heard noise at super high iso has no more magenta/color shift. Not sure how true it is.

I have seen the review online. Seems like the sii iso performance is 1 stop better than the si. Thus in theory, yes, the iso performance of 400000 on the sii will be better than on si.

Shooting in pitch black at night with lowest shutter speed i comfortably handhold.
No NR applied straight from raw export to flickr.
Impressed with the color details


iso 20000
