I am thinking to get a wide angle lens.

Guys any suggestion? 16-35mm f4? samyang 14mm f2.8 or even fish eye 12mm f2.8? or wait for voigtlander coming e mount wide angle lens?? he he

What you mention above... are wide angle but... are you getting 1 for the sake of it? because.... the example you mention above.. Are very quite different lenses of their own..

16-35 is F4..have AF and Zoom range.
Samyang is 14.. (14 to 16.. is quite wide differences) n its F2.8.. 1 stop faster than F4.. But my guess is.. Samyang will have no AF.
Fish eye 12mm... Now this is 12mm.. even much wider.. n its fish eyes like what its called. So its even a more different lens from above 2 mentioned.

So..they are all very different.. make up your mind and know what you are getting. Cheers

Ha ha agree with you. I am ex-canon and ex-fuji user as well. Anyway it wont be a issue if you get used of the size.

i also ex-canon user , reason to go sony is because I want go light . but i think the zeiss 35mm 1.4 still lighter than the 35mmLii ba

130g difference FE35 lighter n outlook nicer =) and it pair with A7r2 make it like a tanker =p

Ha ha I tested the samyang 14mm and 12mm, and also sony 16-35mm. Samyang is cheap and the pic quite sharp as well. Sony only f4 but the pic quality almost same with samyang to me but the resale value sony confirm better. I think just wait for the Sony 2016 Jan event, I am sure there are some surprise for A7 user!

I owned X-T1 and 35mm f1.4 and 14mm f2.8 before. Very nice built camera and of course the look very stylo. The picture quality to me is above average and the auto focus performance quite fast under the good lighting condition. A bit slower when there are lack of light.

I think the recent Sony promotion had PWP items... Got my A7rII during it and had PWP on battery and flash. Even Lens were also cheaper.

You just missed it. Ended on 3 Jan 2016. The next one should be the year end again. Hopefully, they also do it in June.

What items are you looking for in the PWP?

Try negotiating at the popular camera shops and they might provide better than PWP sometimes.

Taking lenses for example. The price from the popular stores (non-Sonystyle shops) are lower than if you buy from Sonystyle store with PWP.

Just call them to check price. If you are buying camera body with a few lenses, they will be happy to discuss price.
