A77 and A65 real production model picture leaked...

Rocky78, if you've just came out of a rock, the hinges should work like this.

:)

No need to buy new camera unless u wanted to be a Pro. Camera is just only a tool so enjoy what u already had. Cheers.

Love the way the new LCD is hinged ! ...Sony has addressed the problems face by A33/A55 users when they mount the SLT on tripods and wanna 'shoot themselves' :bsmilie:

Pro don't buy camera until they need them... It is the consumers who like to buy new gear...

Anyway... Hope this one is as good as it hype up to be and no, I m not buying.

I'll only consider someone a Pro if he/she makes money out of photography. Does not matter to me what brand or camera used.

Pardon me for intruding, from the back and side, the a77 looks like the Pentax K10d or K20d.

With the 3:2 looking LCD, I am wondering if the A77 still offers pictures in 16:9 format?

Yep ! It is indeed an intriguing design.

Just hope that it is rigid and tough enough to withstand daily use.

:)

still think you can poke someone's eye with the LCD hinge :bsmilie:

I defer, ...to me, a Pro is one who can constantly shoot awards winning photos even though he/she doesn't makes a single cent out of it. There are too many so called photog trying to make money but churning out rubbish.
A Pro in the business is one with a portfolio which makes you go 'WOW !' and your wife/GF go 'Ah !' :bsmilie:

If the LCD hinge fails, I'll hold the lense and bonk them on the head with that vertical grip attached ! ...it looks deadly ! ;)

To me, that's still considered a very skillful enthusiast/hobbyist. Same if you are into sports, when you turn Pro it means you start to earn money from your skill/abilities.

Those so-called Pro that churn out rubbish won't last long as a Pro.

I never consider myself an IT Professional even though I've been making, repairing or tweaking IT stuffs since the early 90's, though I've earn some pocket money out of it freelancing every now and then.

Anyway, hate the hype given to the A77. I guess if stock for the A77 is limited, might get 1-2 CZ lens first....still can use my a700.

Agreed, the A77 has got some rather large shoes to fill ! ...just hope people can see it for what it is ! ...just another piece of equipment.

Agreed. I'm happy with my A580 as a backup cam. The A77 would really need to impress me with features that can actually benefit me if I'm gonna get it. :P

well, while there are others who can't stand their camera body getting replaced :bsmilie: but this is sony, too bad for them.

bro, get the A77 and convert it for IR :bsmilie:

Looks like the more experience folks in CS are sticking to proven models while the newer consumers are chasing the latest models...
