A750

OK...

But my personal feel would be around 15k (if 300F2.8 RRP is 12k).

I doubt that it's gonna be that expensive, if it's a 500 F2.8, yeah maybe 15k is reasonable, but 500 F4? IMO, unlikely.

300 F2.8 + 1.4 TC could perform 420mm F4, I think to make people buy for the size and weight of this thing, i would say it should cost a bit lesser than the 300 2.8.

hopefully the A750 doesn't cost a bomb

Yes, I am one of them.

Why another silver lens? Sony should just stick to the white. I find the old Minolta white G lenses more 'chio' then the new silver G lenses and the Minolta G lenses are really consider white and not grey which some claims to be white. :bsmilie:

Yea

Silver on the non metallic parts looks very 'made in china'

i hate the silver colour lens, looks very cheapo.

Should just stick to while lens, looks much better.

Seems like I am notthe only one feeling so. :)

Hope Sony would restore the white lenses in all the Gs.

I guess they are reserving the whites for the F2.8s

not surprise at all if Sony camera or lens is made in China.:bsmilie:

Nope, high end Japan, otherwise Thailand.

Like my a550, it's Made in Japan but the new ones are all Thailand.

I'm letting go of mine btw ^^ saving for upgrade. pm me for details ;p

... hopefully.. a white 70-210 f4.0G SSM

I reckon the beercan is already up there with the G's in terms of image quality. Wonder why Sony didn't bother to re-release this lens with improved optics.
