A7 or A7r for travel photography?(or A7s) advice please

I have used A7 for 3 trips till now and I love the camera. Only problem i have is lenses. I use A mount lenses with LA-EA4 adapater and a Zeiss 50 CY f1.4 lens most of the time. Wish they release the 16-35mm lens soon so I can have a main native lens with good AF.

Totally agree. Wish the 16-35 faster release. I been to trips with A7r with Nikon 20mm, 50mm and 75-150 Ais lens etc... But i haven't own any of their native lens so far.

For travel.... Why not RX100 mk3?

I use the a7r w Sony E 16 mm F2.8. For both landscape and street.

The images are better than what I get w Nikon D800 w 24 mm F1.4G.

It's cropped. I shoot at F8 for landscape.

Hard to believe. Why pair a gd camera with a crappy lens? If u can get gd results with that combo, I'm sure u'll do better with the sigma 19

There are many SLR wide angle primes from 17mm to 21mm that doesn't cost a bomb and are of manageable size, albeit only manual focus. I prefer those for landscapes, and allowing u to fully utilize the FF sensor
