The price for A6000 did not drop much. PWP not worth also, 50f1.8 selling at $300+, I got mine from TK foto few months back already less than $300.

Improvements over version 2.00:
New lenses are supported.
Phase-detection AF is supported
The lens name will be correctly recorded in the EXIF

Benefits provided by previous updates and included in version 3.10:
The startup time is shortened
Adds support for recording movies in the XAVC S format that supports high bit rates (NTSC: 60p/30p/24p PAL: 50p/25p)
Notes:
When recording a movie in the XAVC S format, you must use a Class 10 or faster SDXC card
If you format the memory card, all of the data will be erased. Make sure that the data on the card is backed up before formatting the card

Hi there, I'm just a little confused with the 60p/50p record setting for the Sony a6000. My camera only does 50i/50p/25p and not 60i nor 60p. Is this something that I should be concerned of? Please enlighten me

You need to change to NTSC - your camera is currently set to PAL. To do this, you will need to goto that briefcase looking menu option and then goto #2 --> At the bottom, you will find an option for PAL/NTSC Selector - change to NTSC there.

After that, you can select 60i/60p/24p.

Ah you're right! Much thanks klim828! I've wasted a bunch of holiday clips under the 50p vid settings with tonnes of interlacing issues.

I am quite new here and looking to get some prime lens. I am limited to the SEL50F18 or the SEL35F18. Do you know the rough price difference for first hand or second hand?

I am running though the forums and I can only find recent prices for the 50mm at 250-300 second hand.

Just wanted to check: any non-Sony suggestions for flash as i am very confused with the reviews & issues i read with Yongnuo ... & it worked really well with my DSLR before.

You can try TK foto at Funan or Cathay photo at pernisular. I only buy from these 2 places

Sigma 19mm seems to have slightly less sharp compare to 30mm, anyone can share the real life experience on these lens? Initially thinking of getting the 19mm, but as its less sharp according to the score at DXOmark, hence considering the 30mm instead. By the way is the shop in funan still carry the old EX version of the lens, instead of the Art version?

The earlier one is the Sigma 30 F2.8 DN. The new one is Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary, not Art.
