One stop faster wont be current pricing liao haha
BTW, is the 1670Z lens compatible with the A6000 AF-A mode?
Or rather, all E-mount lens are compatible?
haha...I know, still can dream about it right? Well, alot of reviews are saying that 1670Z is good... but not good enough for it's RRP. Still on the fence....I guess it all boils down to what the dealer offer me for PWP when I go down to pay for the pre-order later.
See the PWP as street price can liao.
How much is this lens?
But the street price is cheaper than pwp price lor
You mean street price from the same retailers (MS, TK, etc) is lower from pwp price?
Btw... for those getting A6000 body only, apparently body only sets limited in allocation to the dealers....asked Click!, their allotment only 3 pieces... all reserved! So I got mine else where.
Just went to Wisma Sony to try out the A6000. It is fitted with a Zeiss 16-70.
These are my opinions on this A6000. Your mileage may vary.
1) Plastic. Whole body is plastic. The handling is good. The design looks premium. The material is plastic. There is an obvious diff when you hold this and the NEX6. The NEX6 makes you feel solid in your hand. This A6000 wont. Coming from a Nex 6 just 3 seconds handling the A6000 i can feel that diff.
2) EVF. 1.4m on the A6000 vs 2.4m on the NEX6. Not that much diff to be honest. No lag no tearing of image. Bright and sharp.
3) AF. Bloody FAST.
4) Layout. The dial position as many have reviewed might post a problem. But not for me. My thumb able to access both dial easily. Button layout is good.
Overall, should you upgrade from a nex 6? It's a downgrade for the material used and the EVF but it's a upgrade on everything else. If you are happy with the NEX6, then you should give this A6000 a miss because i feel the NEX6 is still a very capable camera. If you are looking for a 2nd body but don't mind the plastic, this is a very good camera.

Played with the display unit at Sony shop at Funan yesterday. I beg to differ on point 1.
A6000 (black) felt solid and the material is definitely metal. Definitely more solid than the NEX5N I am coming from. And 5N is supposed to have magnesium alloy top and front plate. The generations beyond 5N loses the metal top plate due to need to incorporate wifi capability.
I read from DPReview forum that NEX6 is all plastic?
Interesting thing to note, I was told if you order the black A6000 lens kit, you will get the black 1650PZ while you will get the silver 1650PZ if you opted for the Titanium A6000. Not affecting me cos I chose the body only option. Putting the $250 towards the 1670Z.
Anyone???
