Not too sure of CP, cos never dealt with them, but you should call up AP,TKF,SLR-rev..... I suspect your 55-210 lens even without camera purchase might be better price than Sony PWP. I am looking at the 16-70Z....the PWP price is worse than the off the phone quote by the above mentioned dealers 1 month back.
Original batt price is going for $50 BNIB in the BNS (prob from guys who got them dirt cheap during a previous promotion).

The sony store at NEX have got a display unit in black with the pancake zoom for hands-on.

Just went to Wisma Sony to try out the A6000. It is fitted with a Zeiss 16-70.
These are my opinions on this A6000. Your mileage may vary.
1) Plastic. Whole body is plastic. The handling is good. The design looks premium. The material is plastic. There is an obvious diff when you hold this and the NEX6. The NEX6 makes you feel solid in your hand. This A6000 wont. Coming from a Nex 6 just 3 seconds handling the A6000 i can feel that diff.
2) EVF. 1.4m on the A6000 vs 2.4m on the NEX6. Not that much diff to be honest. No lag no tearing of image. Bright and sharp.
3) AF. Bloody FAST.
4) Layout. The dial position as many have reviewed might post a problem. But not for me. My thumb able to access both dial easily. Button layout is good.
Overall, should you upgrade from a nex 6? It's a downgrade for the material used and the EVF but it's a upgrade on everything else. If you are happy with the NEX6, then you should give this A6000 a miss because i feel the NEX6 is still a very capable camera. If you are looking for a 2nd body but don't mind the plastic, this is a very good camera.

The handling is good. But the feel isn't. I actually dun mind paying more if they used back the same nex6/7 material.
Btw, in dpreview, they listed that this A6000 can take 100 more shots than the nex6!!!!!!
Just now didnt really play with the settings much... anyone knows if there is auto iso selection in M mode?

Just pre-ordered at MSC today. Was playing ard with the demo set (fitted with Zeiss 16-70) which arrived tonight.
First time Sony user here, so easily impressed with everything after handling it for 3 mins.
I have to add that the auto-focus is super clinical!

I am using nex 6 now.
Sold my NEX-7 for that, ok i did not aware of the material at all until someone post that the material is Composite. I feel A6000 warmer compare to my NEX-7 but i guess should be OK as long as performance matter, i might get the leather case to cover those feeling :X
Speaking of which, did anyone know the body material for the Titanium version.?
