A6000

The 30mm is too short.. Looking at around 100mm range Sent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk
don't recall a native e mount macro of that range
Perhaps your best bet is to get an adapter and use an existing DSLR macro lens, since you'll likely be using MF you won't be missing much

The price for Nov is under $620, body only...

Been wanting this fantastic camera for so long. Guess it's true, good thing always come to those who wait :)
Got mine at "AP" shop at Funan Level 2, $618! Can;t wait for a sport event to try 11fps with AF lock on!!

i'm still unsure if i shud sell my OMD for a A6000...can you guys advice?

my usage will be mainly for tele range when i'm overseas...as i dont like to change lens when i'm overseas...so i normally mount a OMD + 45mm (equivalent to 90mm) in my pouch...

i currently alr have a a7r, so my sony batteries n charger would be more than enough...getting a A6000, i can use it with my CZ 55mm F1.8, which would give me a 82mm (plus minus la) focal length, which is fine...

but the IBIS of the OMD EM10 is simply awesome...yes now A6000 is cheap...and changing to it will streamline a lot of my process (lesser wires, already have the lens i need)

i must say, the lack of an electronic level gauge really makes me damn sian..haha..

i shoot landscapes a lot, so the OCD is there..

You sure you want to give up IBIS for the A6000? It can always be your 3rd body though.

Hi, anybody here knows where to buy flash card for a600 for light bouncing?

Not too sure if you can tilt the flash up to bounce off ceilings in indoor situations. I used to do that for my NEX 6. No need for any reflectors.

Yes I think you can tilt the flash up. It would work as long as the ceiling is not too far away. I saw a seller in amazon but wondering if there is a local seller here in SG.

built in flash power not strong enough to be bounced. subject must be close enough to see the effect

Hi guys . Sorry to ask noob question as I am a newbie photographer. I have been using the gf3 with 20mm pancake lens and pics always turn out beautiful and bright. Just that many times can be abit blurry and auto focus seems oh so slow. I am wanting to upgrade my camera and I'm unsure if this is a significant better camera than my pana gf3? Does sony have a similar nice lens like the 20mm pancake panasonic has that can take lovely portraits shots and any nice zoom lens to recommend me? I like to take scenery shots and also stray dogs. Thank you so much for the reply and pardon the question .

hi, anyone here tried a6k with adapater to nikon lenses? how bad will it be without autofocus? usually shoot model on runway and sports.

It is as bad (or as good) as any camera without autofocus...

was taking many indoor shots during my recent trip and had to pump it up to ISO3200 at least with my kit lens with 1/25 and biggest aperture to get decent exposure. And it barely passed my noise level expectations. (On afs-c, wide focus, spot metering)

Then I realized that Sony doesn't have an E-mount telephoto lens with f2.8 or below. My resident lens on my Nikon was a 17-50f2.8.

Can anyone share how do they overcome low lighting with the camera settings? Or is there a third party telephoto that is f2.8? I know there are A-mount for that.

So from the last post, I understand even with an adapter for a Nikon lens, I'll lose my autofocus capability. So will I also lose it if I convert an A-mount Sony lens?

Thanks in advance!
