A6000

have u used much of the kit zoom? look at the photos u shoot with and try to find which focal length u use more often. after that, the answer is clear

street photography has always been my interest and at time for portraits, have to capture without the subject knowing. Since it's now my learning stage, can I say 50 is a better choice since it allows more distance? But have read many switching camp to 35 after having the 50 only for a short while..

I agree with hawthorne's advice. Should probably play more with yr kit zoom before deciding to choose 50/35. Don't have to rush to make yr decision as like you said, you're still at the learning stage.

The 16-50 kit has been and still is a lens I use very often, even almost two years on. :) best to see what focal length you use before deciding.

Thanks everyone for the advice, will play with the kit lens more to have a better feel. Managed to try the 35f18 belonging to a friend at river Safari last night. Though some pictures did not turn out that well unde low light handheld conditions..

the 35f18 should have good low light performance. What settings did u use?

Was learning to shoot in A mode, started F8-11 and pictures were rather nice, especially portraits. As we moved further into darker conditions, pushing down to F3-5 but guess my shaky hands destroyed everything.

At the big aquarium, in S Mode at 1/40, pushing up ISO 3200-4000.

It was really like learning how to fly before I can walk properly.. Lolx

You can try A1.8-2.0 for shaky hands at night or in low light. Works well for me in taking photos of my active kids. I set my ISO maximum to 1600 though. Beyond that the image looks rather overexposed.

What is the fastest supported Memory card for A6000. Write time seem very slow.

I did send my A7r for sensor cleaning 3 time, first 2 cleaning not so clean lo

Do you just inform them that you want it to be cleaned or they need to see some spots?
I just brought it in and tell them I want to do sensor cleaning. they did not check the sensor the counter.

when i got back, I can still see 1 dust spot when at do a test shot at small aperture. but that one I just diy clean with a blower
