Thanks bro...a little confused...was on A65 SLT previously, which I understand they had since discontinued the SLT. Am thinking if shld get the pwp sel501.8 for another 300 odd. (Is this a improved lens or the same lens used for the nex cam) Or just wait and see at bns section...the e mounts lens should be pretty easily available I suppose....

Sel50f18 is a prime lense. Not a kit lens if that is what you are asking.
Sel50f18 has pretty good reviews. I own that. Very good and fast portrait lens. A tad long for indoor use. Consider sel35f18 if u want a more general purpose prime.

Oh thanks..oh cos I'm not familiar with e mount lens first associated with the NEX series....thought with the new A6000... They came out with some improved e mount lens...read up a little more...and realized..they shared the same E mount lens...as for sel50f18.. Am pretty keen though...thinking is whether to get it now with pwp or later in the bns...but don see this 5018 lens much in the ad though....

yea not many sel50f18 in the BnS section, better to get it with pwp!

Actually the 50f18 is quite often sold in tbe bns..just need to look out..I bought and sold mine there. Because it is a 75mm on thr apsc. .I didnt really like it. It is also a rather slow to focus lens.. I'm curious to see it perform on the a6k..it was slow on the nex6..but the iq is rather good

Sold my NEX-7 for that, ok i did not aware of the material at all until someone post that the material is Composite. I feel A6000 warmer compare to my NEX-7 but i guess should be OK as long as performance matter, i might get the leather case to cover those feeling :X

Speaking of which, did anyone know the body material for the Titanium version.?

Have pre ordered...btw....the a exclusive premium gift is still not known....the 16gb and camera bag are given in addition, to the lower cam case, and extra battery....earlier post suggests a tee shirt??

I just care about the free battery and leather case. The rest i dun even need it. Their 16GB is not even UHS-1 standard, maybe will be a memory stick??? Battery most important cause sony original battery is expensive.

wanted to get the 32gb version but no stock then, so just bite the bullet and hoot....:bsmilie:

Anyway, I doubt the write speed for even the normal class 10 cards will be a limiting factor for A6000's performance.

You plug in sd card into laptop card reader or through usb card reader? If through usb card reader, better buy the usb 3.0. Usb 2.0 is the bottleneck, even you use 95MB/s UHS-1 card.
