A55 kit lens

TS, sorry to piggyback on your thread.

I am a newbie moving up from compact and would like to improve on my photo-taking skills especially on landscapes, sports shots and dog/human candid shots. :)
I am planning to get A55 with 18-250 kit lens. I am considering other lens
1) Should I get 50f1.4 or 50f1.8 OR 35f1.8?
2) Sony DT 11-18 f4.5-5.6 or Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 ?
3) Any other lens?

BTW, should I also get a tripod and external flash now? All advices are welcome. MTIA!

Honestly? For your purposes, I'd get 3 lenses:
1. 18-250: Good walkabout lens, nice reach for candid street photography.
2. 50mm f/1.8 or the 35 f/1.8, depending on which you can get at a discount as a PwP (purchase with purchase): For those nice 1-on-1 portrait shots / dog shots.
3. Either the sony 11-18 or the Sigma 10-20 (whichever fits your budget) for those ultra-wide landscape moments.

I would definitely get a tripod for landscapes shoot and ext. flash for potraits or indoor shoot..

Thanks, bro. I had bought the A55 with (1) and 50f1.8 on PWP. The salesman told me not to buy the UWA first coz 18-250 can also do WA and since there is sweep pana, no need to spend money on UWA. Agree?

I am now waiting for stock for B+W MRC filters for both set of lens. The other thing which I havent bought is the dry cabinet/box. Any recommendation? Intending to buy this weekend as my camera, lens etc are all lying on my table.
