A500, A550, or A700?

yeap, i clicked on the pop up flash button to pop up, but it stucked due to my trigger mounted above. anyway im using the pt-04 trigger. i didnt dare to force up the pop up flash as its a rented camera. has anyone tried using the pop up flash when mounting the pt-04 trigger?

yeah. im aiming for the a700 since last year. but then its kind of pricey at 1.6k for just the body. theres a few good deals currentl now for a550 over at bns. anyway my budget is like 700-800 plus. really in need to get a new body fast as i have a few upcoming photoshoots to do.

how about a500?
may i know, if its just 2megapixels different, is there much difference as in, the noise control, better? i dont mind about the fps at all nor the live view actually.

im not gonna go for the a33 nor a55, as the battery life isnt good right?
howver its still tempting wiht their twilight thingy and shooting a few frames to reduce the noise.. ahh. , haha

One biggest consideration you need to consider is the menu and controls if you like tweaking and fine tuning you cam A33/A55 might not appeal to you I am not saying that A33/A55 menu is like PnS but there's a lot of contrls that is no longer there for you to tweak/adjust.

Also A33/A55 doesnt have the lamp assist like A550/A500you'll need to rely on pre-flash if your cam having problem focusing at dark or low light.

moreover, A500/550 has superior battery life, almost unbeatable. a fresh battery can take you up to 900 frames without recharge. also it comes with battery grips so the battery life becomes even longer. that is if battery life is important to your usage.

however if you want video and fast AF accuracy, the A33/55 would work.

if af illuminator on the pop flash still wouldnt work with my flash trigger on top, i'll go get a
strong mini flashlight to do the job. maybe stick on my a500/a550. hehe

Yes, noise control is kinda similar for A500 and A550. I have owned both before and it seems the JPEG colour output for A500 is closer to the actual scene than A550 which tends to overexpose a bit.

nice. alright i'll get the a500 most probably. since i prefer it all black and wouldnt mind the fps nor the 2more megapixels.
