if its 100k shoots...i will prob used it up in like 1yr...my Viet trip.i took like 1000 plus photos..i juz spam

Dude do the math lar... Taking 1000 shots per trip means you need to take 10 such trips a year to hit 10,000 shots. And then do this for 10 years straight before you hit 100,000 shots before you hit the shutter lifespan limit... you sure you can hit 100,000 shots in 1 year?

Anyone has problems using a 3rd party lens on the a330?

When i connected a sigma lens to the camera, i tried setting it to auto and flash on. The pictures came out to be totally dark even when the flash fires. But when I change it back to the sony 18-55mm kit lens, the picture came out as normal.

Advice please?

Depends on the lens. If it's a very old one, it may not have any D-chip, thus cannot communicate metering info with the camera.

Nope, no need to detach. Can just put body together with lens into dry box/cabinet

if you are using mac, you can use iPhoto which I am using. It's good enough for me to adjust the colour, sharpness, exposure of the photo. (Benefits of a Mac. xD)

iPhoto should come with your Mac as a standard application IIRC.
