below is post processed via CS5 mainly to increase the bokeh effect which i cannot get out of a kit lens.. also darken the background to lift the subject out..

My humble shots with a230 minolta 28mm f2.8. Do give some comments.

I really like the third shot...your apeture? F22?

somw shots taken at chinatown and clarke quay area where the mid-autumn lantern displays are held..

i find taking photos of the lantern a harder subject to take than normal as the lantern exposures would often tend to be overexposed if the backroung is properrly exposed or the lanterns are properly exposed but the background are way underexposed.. black cards were used on some of the shots and all have been post processed with the DRange setting at high.
