if having a grossy surface on white, will it still turn yellowish?

dont think it will turn yellow easily. My ibook is 2 yrs old and i use it everyday. still white and clean.

There might be some applicable practicality in having a white camera body for some occasions - well, much like why large telephoto lenses have white barrels. Though if it's plastic... there's a chance it'd turn yellow...

Do L lenses turn yellow? They don't, right?

Don't see why white bodies would yellow if they're built with proper materials

Hm...say after holding/using the white DSLR for a while, I think the palms will sweat a bit.
When placing the eye at the viewfinder, the oil from the face will kanna the LCD & even the sides of the LCD.
Seems like after usage it'll get dirty easily, Haha if that happens I might as well paint it into Camo color. ;p

i like!!!! D700 comes out in white, i will break my bank to get it.

Last time, white plastic stuffs tend to turn yellow as it age. Maybe nowadays plastic grade has improved, and has less chance of turning yellow?

But white coloured stuff really tend to become dirty easier. Sweat, dirt etc. Sony came out with a champagne A350 is it? I wonder how is it now.

i've always been wondering, why must dslrs always be in black colour? because it releases heat easily? i'd love a GREY camera : p brown would be cool as well.

Laptops were once black or grey.

Then Sony VAIOs made headway and changed laptops into some fashion statement.

So shall we wait for Sony to come out with colourful Alphas and turn dslrs into a trendy fashion statement as well? People lug their cams like bling blings? :bsmilie:

Quite chio.. I only think silver is quite bad.. White quite nice what.

Isn't there a silver Nikon DSLR

Yup. I think there was also a gold D60?

But were they shipped to Singapore? Even if they were, I havent seen anyone using it. Well having coloured bodies isnt enough I reckon. It has to be a whole package, from tripod, to lens, to flash, all must be white coloured! :bsmilie:
