Wow....seems like f2.8 and below is a must for wedding eh? :)
Thanks. Hope to hear more tips from you. :D

Hi iamsaint! From the album, i think they are fantastic! You habve captured the moment very well. Very systematic. I got one question, do you enhance the colour such as the saturation and hue? Cos they look really vivid in colour.

Yes, I agree. Your photos are fantastic! A great inspiration to beginners like me. Amazing.

Hi...no la... a 2.8 is not a must. However, if you want to shoot in available light then you have to consider investing in one cos it does help, BUT only if you think you would should more in available light. Cheers

Great Photos! Jus feel that in singapore we could not get as good lighting than those away from the equatorial. Well done! You are a pro photographer who is willing to share. Not many are willing to share their skill. Good luck in your wedding photojourlism!

Luv the Photos  the moments that were captured priceless

Only comment (if u don't mind ;p ) go easy on the boxes and montages, your photos already speaks for themselfs :)

Thanks for sharing iamasaint.

Can see that you are using different lens to shoot wedding too.

Last week I was helping to shoot my friend's wedding. There was an offical photographer there, saw me using the following lens

16-35 f2.8
24-70 f2.8
70-200 f2.8

and he comments that I should only bring a 50mm will do .

The rest are not meant for wedding photography.

Since he is a Pro (I think should be lah) , I smile and say thanks but don't really agreed much on hs comments.

IMHO, if not shooting at the main photographer, can just use one lens (be it zoom or prime). Objective is to capture creative shots not covered by the main photographer.

So I sort of agree with his comments:)

When he mention about the lens, he is refering to what a main wedding photographer should use, that is 50mm which he is using throughout the whole event.

Personally, the lens are very much my tools just as a chef has his set of knives. To limit yourself to one lens be it the main or back up photographer would more often than not put you at a disadvantage.

I believe you can shoot a wedding with one fix lens (and the 50mm lens would a good choice) but for myself, I cant or at least won't. Especailly since i love closeups of the subjects...:bsmilie:
