Yup.

Have to really thanks the master!! :D

Got to agree that the sunday session is quite a gd value for money ;)

Post processing skill I shd learn more, but WB & sense of colour correctness I think is harder to learn via teaching, probably need to gain thru practicing and experience.

BTW, pro image, I really like your avatar. Looking forward to Kungfu part II ;)

I love that joker a lot.......hehe. Yeah hopefully there is a Kungfu Part Deux.....

PP is all about understand the basic techniques. Once you are able to grasp it, you will be on the way to making great photos.

It's just like when you shoot on negative is always half way done when you exposed it in your camera. The chemical process and the prints makes the whole cycle complete. Those days we old birds rather shoot on slides/transparency to achieve more accurate colours. Now that technology advances, we sometimes take things for granted. So certainly hope to see some of you learn a little more about PP to achieve some balance in your shots.

Same as for me as well. I remember I did a shot 2 weeks ago in Swissotel where this bunch of chefs wanted a group shot. The whole lighting was covered with blue gel. No way to compensate even if you adjusted your WB. So I decided to go ahead to shoot.

When I get back home, I did a quick post process to the blue cast. I had to tune the WB from 3500K to 15000K......to balance up the whole image. So you can see how programs like Photoshop can help a lot. As long as your shoot on RAW files with of course correct exposures, you will definately have less or no problems.

Good luck on your future shoots. Hopefully to see more quality organisers like modellin (Ivan), Feine(as herself) and Charby (Colin) in future shoots.

Thanks for the tips & advises again. :)

Yah, agree that part of the WB adjustment problems could be due to the JPG format. Perhaps it's abt time tt to experiment with some RAW format & try to get use to it.

Any PP books (or courses?) you recommend?

Too many out there but it's just too time comsuming. Faster solution would be learning from someone who knows the basic skills and knowledge of it. As when you are hands on beside the instructor, you will learn the most.

RAW files takes a little while getting use to it but if you actually try and adjust the levels, you will be able to see what will happend to the image itself.

I probably have to get use to working with RAW & CS2 at some point of time..

Meanwhile, processed a few more pics b4 going for round 2 tomorrow..

Bro....

There definately better than the first few. It's good that you are trying out different ways to post process. In time you should be able to find your own signature from people like PointBlankShoot, Will03 and Joho.

Thanks bro, think I am the slow type, need to spend more time staring and working with the images b4 getting closer (still a bit out though).. tried a few variation each b4 settling on these. On the last image I just cant get the WB right but in the end found tt it looked better mono..
